Classes for dancers

  • Preschool Ballet

    Your baby ballerina will be twirling, leaping, and giggling with joy. In the Flower Fairies classes, your tiny dancer will develop grace, coordination, and creativity through imaginative play and storytelling.

  • Classical Ballet

    The renowned Cecchetti Ballet Syllabus will inspire your dancer. Each student is coached through the levels, nurturing their artistry, developing their posture and encouraging their knowledge of dance theory and history.

  • Pointe class

    Support your dancers next step in their dance journey as they progress to pointe shoes! It is an exciting milestone and an important chapter in their ballet education. Watch your dancers be rewarded for the years of effort they have put in.

  • Open Classical Ballet

    Does your dancer want to extend themself beyond their syllabus class? Learn additional steps or want to enter external auditions and competitions? This is the class to prepare you.

  • Musical Theatre

    Unleash your inner performer with our Musical Theatre classes. Our students have a blast bringing iconic characters to life through dance, theatre and song. From the Wizard of Oz to Matilda this class is always laughing and learning together.

  • Acro Jazz

    Our combined Acro Jazz classes embrace Jazz's vibrancy, technique and energy with the strength and fun of Acro. Get ready to move and groove in our popular Acro Jazz classes each week.

  • Contemporary

    Contemporary classes will give your dancer the chance to explore and fully express themselves. With a range of movements and a safe space to explore who they are, students find joy in the art of storytelling through dance.

  • Our Flower Fairies classes are perfect for tiny dancers from around 2.5 to 3 years old.

  • Absolutely! If you miss a class, you can take a makeup class in any style within your age group or one level higher.

  • Our dance uniforms are unifying, embracing every dancer with a sense of belonging and pride. They're carefully designed not only for style but also for safety, ensuring that each dancer can move with confidence and grace in every class. Wearing our uniforms is not just about representing the studio, but about feeling empowered and connected as part of a passionate community of dancers.

  • At The Dance Co. Sydney, you can enter dance examinations with leading dance organisations.

  • Our studio eagerly anticipates the chance to proudly showcase the talents and growth of our students each year. The concert fosters commitment and camaraderie and helps build confidence in our student's ability to perform in front of an audience. We encourage all students to participate!

From our cherished Presentation Day and the grand end-of-year Concert to engaging in Eisteddfods and Examinations, there's always something happening. Additionally, dancers are warmly welcomed to join in outings such as visits to the Opera House, screenings of Ballet Films, and participation in dance workshops. They also have the opportunity to take part in esteemed competitions like the Cecchetti Medal competitions, the NSW State Scholars Program, The Young Dancers Competition in Melbourne, The NSW State Winter School and Spring School, and our own Community outreach dance program.
